See & Sew B4838 - Apron
The green apron on the left is the one I'm embracing. The color and contrast will be totally different, and a bit more whimsical. As you can tell I LIKE whimsical detail at the moment. I chose this pattern because of the red box on the side that pops out with the words "YES! it's so Easy". Lol. I figured "YES! That's so Me!". I will add a swatch of the contrast fabric I'm using a little bit later.
Okay, so here is my beautiful mess. I feel like I'm putting a puzzle together. This is the contrast fabric that will be the waistband, pocket, and trimming. I have staystitched them. Stitching the edge of lower trim was difficult because of the curves.I staystitched the inner seams of pockets too small, but I don't think it'll be a big catastrophe. So, I still need to add the ric rac to pocket, and even it out. Obviously, it all needs to be sewn to the actual apron. But I'm having such a hard time on deciding the color - yikes! Wish me luck :)
